《廊桥遗梦》。
这本书我第一次见到是在我爷爷的书架上。和它摆在一起的还有左拉的《娜娜》。我当时有点被惊到了。
故事情节其实很简单，进入高潮也没什么拖沓。男女主人公刚见面基本上就相中了对方，之后是一段只持续了四天却贯穿了二人一生的婚外 恋情。写的很美像一首长诗。
看到他们在昏暗的烛光下跳舞那一幕时，不禁想到《登堂入室》里Claude写给Esther的诗：
“纵使赤着脚，雨珠也无法跳舞。”
但这里他们的爱情却让他们真正在舞蹈起来，就算只是下半生的怀念。
很喜欢Francesca为了约Robert在Roseman Bridge上别下的纸条：
"If you'd like supper again when ' white moths are on the wing,' come by tonight after you're finished. Anytime is fine."
And when white moths were on the wing，
And moth-like stars were flickering out，
I dropped the berry in a stream
And caught a little silver trout.
我当时想跳进书里说我也喜欢叶芝啊，我我我。
